Last updated: July 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "Customer") and DevsHub Technologies W.L.L., a company registered in Doha, Qatar ("DevsHub," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the DevsHub.ai website, the CodeSync CLI tool, the DevsHub Cloud dashboard, sandbox execution services, APIs, and any related products or services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
DevsHub provides an autonomous AI software engineering platform that enables users to:
- Run AI-powered code generation, modification, and analysis via a command-line interface (CodeSync CLI).
- Provision ephemeral, isolated sandbox virtual machines for code execution and testing.
- Orchestrate parallel cloud sandboxes across supported cloud providers (GCP, AWS, or your own infrastructure via BYOC).
- Manage agent sessions, review proposed changes, and approve or reject modifications through a web dashboard.
The Service is currently in early access and is provided on an invite-only basis. Features, capacity, and availability may change as we develop the platform.
3. Account Registration & Security
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information updated.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Using the Service to develop, distribute, or operate malware, ransomware, viruses, or any malicious software.
- Engaging in cryptocurrency mining, blockchain consensus operations, or any activity that consumes disproportionate compute resources.
- Attempting to bypass sandbox isolation, access other users' environments, or interfere with the Service's security mechanisms.
- Using the Service to violate the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of third parties.
- Generating content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Exceeding rate limits or engaging in activities that degrade Service performance for other users.
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action — including suspension or termination — against any account that violates the AUP.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
5.1 Our IP
The Service, including its underlying software, algorithms, APIs, documentation, website design, logos, trademarks, and all related intellectual property, is owned by DevsHub Technologies W.L.L. or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service except the limited right to use it as described herein.
5.2 Your Content
You retain all right, title, and interest in and to:
- Your source code, repositories, and files that you submit to the Service ("Your Code").
- Any output, modifications, or generated code produced by the Service based on Your Code ("Generated Output").
DevsHub claims no ownership over Your Code or Generated Output. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process Your Code solely as necessary to provide the Service to you (e.g., syncing to sandbox VMs, executing build commands, running tests).
5.3 Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into our products without compensation or attribution.
6. Third-Party Services & Cloud Providers
The Service integrates with third-party platforms and services, including cloud providers (Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services), version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket), and AI model providers. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies. DevsHub is not responsible for the availability, security, or practices of third-party services.
If you use the Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) option, you are solely responsible for:
- Configuring and securing your cloud infrastructure.
- All costs incurred on your cloud provider account (compute, storage, network egress, etc.).
- Compliance with your cloud provider's terms of service.
7. Fees & Payment
- During the early access period, the Service may be provided at no charge or under promotional pricing at our discretion.
- When paid plans are introduced, pricing, billing cycles, and payment terms will be communicated in advance. You will have the opportunity to review and accept any pricing changes before they take effect.
- All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for any sales, use, VAT, or similar taxes imposed on your use of the Service.
- We reserve the right to suspend Service for accounts with overdue payments after providing reasonable notice.
8. Service Availability & Support
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime.
Support is provided on a best-effort basis during the early access period. Formal SLAs will be introduced with general availability.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DEVSHUB DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.
- Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated code or output.
You acknowledge that AI-generated code may contain errors, security vulnerabilities, or unintended behavior. You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating all Generated Output before deploying it to production environments.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DEVSHUB TECHNOLOGIES W.L.L., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:
- Your use or inability to use the Service.
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
- Errors, bugs, or vulnerabilities in AI-generated code.
IN NO EVENT SHALL DEVSHUB'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO DEVSHUB IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS (USD $100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DevsHub Technologies W.L.L., its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

- Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. We will delete or anonymize your account data within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements. Your Code and Generated Output that exist only within ephemeral sandboxes are destroyed upon session completion and are not recoverable after termination.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof, shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email (to the address associated with your account) and/or by posting a notice on our website at least fourteen (14) days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service.
